GetClicky.com: Track Your Visitors
Web statistics are big right now. In fact, if you don't have good statistics software installed chances are you aren't optimizing your website properly. I have been fortunate enough to use Google Analytics since it launched, but I have always found the interface to be cluttered and hard to use. Fortunately, there is a new player in the market.
I recently stumbled upon Clicky and started using it immediately. Clicky offers web statistics that are "perfect for blogs", allowing you to track all the simple things you would with Google Analytics, but in an easier to use format.
Since I love to know what my visitors are doing, one of the most attracting features that I found is the real-time visitor tracking. Within five minutes of a user visiting your website, you are able to see them in your visitors list. From there, you can track what pages they have visited, what site referred them, and find out whether they are new or returning visitors.
Another attractive feature are the RSS feeds. With four feeds available, you can check your statistics quickly and efficiently without even logging into your site. This is something that I haven't seen implemented into any other software solution.
Clicky is still in beta right now, but we can expect to see some other really cool features in the future. These include a "Digg Spy" like feature and the ability to track custom data (such as the usernames of your visitors).
If you are looking for a simple and easy yet effective web statistics solution, I highly recommend you visit the Clicky website. Installation is a breeze, so you could be tracking your visitors in as little as ten minutes.
